Established in 2005, we specialise in the development of properties across various assets including medium-density residential, retail, commercial office, medical and many more, within the Melbourne metropolitan area. Over the last 15 Years, Romano Property Group (RPG) has successfully delivered multiple projects on time and on budget ranging in gross project value of AUD $30-$70 million.

RPG is an innovative, dynamic, market-focused property business, 100% owned by Maurice Romano and his family. With our core values at the forefront of our day to day work, we develop our own projects or work in partnership with key local and international joint venture partners. RPG’s strength lies in our ability to manage and control a property development concept through all stages of the development life cycle, including acquisitions, feasibility analysis, design, bank funding, project development/management, marketing, sales, project delivery and settlement.

We work collaboratively through a number of internal business divisions, working as a fully integrated property group that provides key services via its management team throughout the development process.

RPG maintains strong relationships with all major Australian banks for the sourcing of construction funding. We are methodical in our practices with a strong sense of strategic decision-making principles. Maurice Romano

Maurice Romano

Group Managing Director

As the founder and sole shareholder of Romano Property Group, Maurice brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the team. Holding the role of Group Managing Director since 2005, Maurice contributes extensive development, capital funding and project marketing experience across residential, commercial office, medical and retail projects. He has extensive experience managing projects with a gross value exceeding $40 million.

Before founding RPG, Maurice enjoyed a 23-year corporate career where he gained experience across sales, marketing and general management. Maurice was CEO for several companies within the Australian / New Zealand FMCG Industry. He has also held other senior executive and directorships at; Amcal, Pacific Dunlop Food Company, Valcorp Fine Foods and the Australian Convenience Foods Group. Maurice is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Maurice is a passionate Collingwood supporter and Liverpool FC fan who enjoys road cycling and sharing fine food and wine with his family and friends.

Enza brings to the team more than 20 years of Accounting experience within the Telecommunications, Food and Property Development Industries.

Since joining Romano Property Group in 2013, Enza has managed the accounts for a large number of entities within and associated with Romano Property Group. Enza has responsibility for overseeing and reporting directly to the Group Managing Director on all the financials related to the company's business units and development vehicles for the group. Enza is also responsible for all statutory obligations, payroll, debtors, creditors and reconciliations.

Her attention to detail ensures that our finance function operates effectively and efficiently across all entities within the group.

When she is not applying her financial acumen at the office, Enza enjoys going on long walks, cooking and dining out with family and friends.


Bachelor of Business (Accounting)

Max is our property development expert. He brings to the team more than 10 years experience in developing property across a range of asset classes, including residential, hospitality, aged care, health and commercial in cities across Australia's eastern seaboard. Max has worked as a development and project manager for private developers and as a registered architect for several consultancies. Max has also completed private projects as a Developer and Registered Architect.

Max helps establish the strategic framework for RPG’s development pipeline and is responsible for managing the group’s developments from their inception through to completion.

When not working on our developments Max enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors. A little known fact about Max is that he loves to write and play music.

Georgie provides invaluable executive support to the Group Managing Director and RPG Corporate Team. She also lends her skills to project marketing coordination as well as welcoming our new clients into the business. Georgie brings to us over ten years experience working in the Commercial Real Estate and Construction Industries, including executive support to the Managing and Regional Directors at Multiplex Construction. Georgie progressed into the New Business Team executing submission coordination as well as office management on several large scale commercial and residential projects.

Georgie enjoys keeping fit and has a keen interest in triathlon. When not in the office, Georgie loves travelling, hiking and fine food and wine shared with her family and friends just like so many of us here at RPG Group.

Maria is a valued member of the RPG team directly supporting the Group Financial Controller.

With more than 15 years of experience in office and accounts management, she spent much of her career in the food and hospitality industry and was responsible for the office management and accounts administration for the 'Degani Bakery Cafe' Head Office in Melbourne for 12 years, as well as managing her own cafe business.

In her spare time, Maria loves to cook her mum's traditional Greek recipes, and relaxes with family movie nights.

As Group Sales and Leasing Director, Debbie runs the day to day of the Real Estate Group. This role includes managing all facets of both the Trust accounts (Sales and Leasing) and overseeing the Property Management, Sales Teams and Business Development.

Debbie is an essential part of our team; she leads by example and nurtures talent in everyone across the organisation. Able to draw on more than 30 years experience in Real Estate spanning Sales, Auctions, Marketing, Property Management and running an office - there is no problem she can't solve. Debbie has been working with our Managing Director - Maurice Romano for more than six years, before joining us, she worked some of the largest Real Estate offices in Adelaide and the Dandenong Ranges.

Debbie is passionate about all areas of real estate. She enjoys being involved in the whole process from creating concepts to setting up display suites, marketing of developments and taking you right through to settlement. But it is sales where she shines, selling several projects to 100% and personally driving more than $400m in sales.

When not implementing her unique skillset at RPG, Debbie enjoys spending time with family. Debbie is a long time member and passionate supporter of the Melbourne Football Club so can often be found watching the footy. In addition to this she also enjoys travelling to South Australia and keeping fit.

Brooke brings wealth of knowledge and corporate attention to detail in property management, with over 5 years’ experience working in roles of Property Manager and BDM roles.

With an eye for detail, and enjoyment of working in the fast pace of a Corporate based Real Estate business, Brooke has an abundance of energy.

Brooke is also passionate about business development, and has a bright a positive personality I am sure you will find a delight to deal with.

Brooke has worked for Fletchers and Biggin & Scott and brings to our team, a wealth of knowledge and corporate mindfulness to the management of your greatest asset..

Brooke is very experienced in all areas of Property Management including VCAT and insurance claims.

Maria originally studied Business and Tourism at University, earning a degree in both with a marketing major in each. Since then, she has worked in the property industry as a receptionist, leasing consultant as well as PA to sales agents and property managers. With family roots in real estate, Maria is always ready to meet your needs with her wealth of industry knowledge and varied experience. Her favourite part of her role is helping people – having satisfied clients is what drives her.

When not providing you with world-class customer service through an honest commitment to your needs - Maria can be found snow skiing, water skiing, hiking or bike riding and generally enjoying the great outdoors.
